Refer to page 4-12 for the procedure for accessing<br />

the power switch.<br />

1. Unplug refrigerator or disconnect power.<br />

2. Disconnect the wires from the power<br />

switch terminals.<br />

3. Set the ohmmeter to the R x 1 scale.<br />

4. Touch the ohmmeter test leads to the following<br />

switch pins. The meter should indicate<br />

as shown:<br />

Switch Off: Pins 2 & 3 = open (infinite)<br />

Pins 5 & 6 = open (infinite)<br />

Switch On: Pins 2 & 3 = closed (0 Ω)<br />

Pins 5 & 6 = closed (0 Ω)<br />

24 V TRANSFORMER<br />

Refer to page 4-12 for the procedure for accessing<br />

the 24 V transformer.<br />

1. Unplug refrigerator or disconnect power.<br />

2. Disconnect the primary and secondary<br />

transformer connectors.<br />

3. Set the ohmmeter to the R x 1 scale.<br />

4. Touch the ohmmeter test leads to the following<br />

connectors. The meter should indicate<br />

as shown:<br />

Primary = Between 11 & 17 Ω<br />

Secondary = Approximately 1 Ω
