REMOVING THE FREEZER DRAWER SWITCH<br />

WARNING<br />

Electrical Shock Hazard<br />

Disconnect power before servicing.<br />

Replace all parts and panels before<br />

operating.<br />

Failure to do so can result in death or<br />

electrical shock.<br />

1. Unplug refrigerator or disconnect power.<br />

2. Remove the freezer drawer (see page<br />

4-20 for the procedure).<br />

3. Remove the two hex-head screws from<br />

the freezer drawer switch housing and<br />

remove the housing.<br />

4. Disconnect the two wires from the freezer<br />

drawer switch terminals.<br />

5. Push the freezer drawer switch out of the<br />

housing cutout.<br />

REASSEMBLY NOTE: When you install the<br />

switch in the housing, make sure that you position<br />

it with the locating tab and actuator as<br />

shown.<br />
