REMOVING THE WATER FILTER HOUSING<br />

WARNING<br />

Electrical Shock Hazard<br />

Disconnect power before servicing.<br />

Replace all parts and panels before<br />

operating.<br />

Failure to do so can result in death or<br />

electrical shock.<br />

1. Unplug refrigerator or disconnect power.<br />

2. Turn off the water supply to the refrigerator.<br />

3. Remove the water filter from the bottom<br />

of the refrigerator.<br />

4. Remove the two screws from the base<br />

grille and remove the grille from the bottom<br />

of the refrigerator.<br />

5. Remove the water valve (see page 4-30<br />

for the procedure).<br />

6. Remove the two hex-head screws from<br />

the front of the water filter mounting<br />

bracket.<br />

7. Pull the water filter housing forward as<br />

far as it will go, then disconnect the water<br />

inlet tube from the filter housing, and remove<br />

the housing from the refrigerator.<br />
