SERVICE INFORMATION<br />
• The compressor suction and process stubs<br />
can not be interchanged.<br />
• Refrigerant charge must be applied to the<br />
high side only.<br />
• NOTE: The ice maker cycle must be<br />
initiated electrically. Do not try to manually<br />
start the cycle.<br />
• Service defrost bimetals open at 50°F.<br />
• The defrost timer may contain a capacitor<br />
in series with the motor. Do not test for<br />
continuity when checking for a failed timer<br />
motor. Instead, energize the timer, and<br />
listen for gear movement.<br />
• The part number can be found on the<br />
component.<br />
• IMPORTANT: Refrigerant must be handled<br />
by a licensed, EPA-certified refrigerant<br />
technician in accordance with established<br />
procedures. Remove the refrigerant from<br />
the existing system per the instructions<br />
provided with the recovery system being<br />
used.<br />

and are influenced by the existing condition of<br />
the appliance, such as an iced-up evaporator,<br />
the condition of the condenser, the defrost<br />
cycle, pull-down time, and customer use.<br />

when the air and temperature controls are<br />
at mid-setting, the freezer section is at 0 to<br />
5°F, and the refrigerator is cycling.<br />
