REMOVING THE ICE MAKER & FILL TUBE HEATER<br />

WARNING<br />

Electrical Shock Hazard<br />

Disconnect power before servicing.<br />

Replace all parts and panels before<br />

operating.<br />

Failure to do so can result in death or<br />

electrical shock.<br />

1. Unplug refrigerator or disconnect power.<br />

2. Remove the freezer drawer (see page<br />

4-20 for the procedure).<br />

3. Remove the ice bin from the freezer.<br />

4. To remove the ice maker:<br />

a) Remove the bottom bracket screw<br />

and the two top ice maker screws and<br />

lower the ice maker (see the top right<br />

photo).<br />

b) Disconnect the two ice maker connectors<br />

from the wire harness and remove<br />

the ice maker.<br />

NOTE: To replace the thermal fuse inside the<br />

ice maker, refer to Job Aid #4316835, R-66.<br />
