A message specifying details <strong>for</strong> goods or services ordered under conditions agreed between<br />

the seller and the buyer.<br />

- A buyer may order <strong>for</strong> one or more goods items or services.<br />

- A purchase order may refer to goods items or services related to one or more delivery<br />

schedules, call-offs, etc.<br />

- A purchase order <strong>for</strong> cross-border transactions may contain additional in<strong>for</strong>mation <strong>for</strong><br />

customs and/or statistical purposes.<br />

- A purchase order may contain details <strong>for</strong> transport and destination as well as delivery<br />

patterns.<br />

PURCHASE ORDER CONFIRMATION MESSAGE (ORDRSP)<br />

A message from the seller to the buyer, responding to a purchase order message or a<br />

purchase order change request message.<br />

- A seller may respond <strong>for</strong> one or more goods items or services.<br />

- The response may be <strong>for</strong> a Purchase order or a Purchase order change request:<br />

- an acknowledgement of receipt and understanding of data,<br />

- confirmation of acceptance,<br />

- a proposal of amendment,<br />

- a notification of non-acceptance <strong>for</strong> all or part of the message.<br />

A purchase order response may refer to goods items or services related to one or more<br />

DELIVERY FORECAST MESSAGE (DELFOR)<br />

DELFOR is a message which is sent from a party who is planning the use or consumption of<br />

products to a party who has to plan <strong>for</strong> the supply of the products. The message gives the<br />

requirements regarding details <strong>for</strong> short term delivery and/or medium to long scheduling <strong>for</strong><br />

products. The scheduling can be used to authorise manufacturing and or the provision of<br />

materials. This is based on the terms and conditions defined in a purchase order or contract.
