Appendix 6. Glossary of Terms The following glossary of terms has been compiled from a number of sources. The source from which a term was derived is referenced with parentheses, ( ), and is identified in Table 12 on page 105. AERATION associated with nutrient-rich run-off from the process of exposing a bulk material, composting facilities or landfills.
