Show the Running-Configuration for an Interface<br />

View the configuration for any interface with the following command.<br />

Command Syntax Command Mode Purpose<br />

show running-config<br />

interface type {slot/port}<br />

Figure 265 illustrates the show running-config command output. Note the IPv6 address listed.<br />

EXEC Show the currently running configuration for the<br />

specified interface<br />

Enter the keyword interface followed by the<br />

type of interface and slot/port information:<br />

• For a 10/100/1000 Ethernet interface, enter<br />

the keyword GigabitEthernet followed by<br />

the slot/port information.<br />

• For a Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the<br />

keyword GigabitEthernet followed by the<br />

slot/port information.<br />

• For the Management interface on the RPM,<br />

enter the keyword ManagementEthernet<br />

followed by the slot/port information.<br />

• For a 10 Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter<br />

the keyword TenGigabitEthernet followed<br />

by the slot/port information.<br />
