David has worked extensively with global, European and UK real estate fund managers in establishing a number of core, valueadded and opportunity funds that are investing in a variety of specifi c real estate sectors (offi ce, industrial, retail) both in the UK and on a pan-European basis. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing all real estate private equity investment by Deutsche Bank and its affi liates on a global basis. Since assuming responsibility for this business in 1994, Mr Brush has supervised REOG’s involvement in 150 transactions with an enterprise value in excess of $18 billion. Peter Buttenschön holds a degree in business economics from the University of Stockholm and joined Dresdner Bank in 2003 as Head of the German portfolio of the Institutional Restructuring Unit (IRU). He manages the restructuring and exit of the Bank’s non-strategic loans in Germany. Prior to this he gained over ten years experience in managing distressed loans in Europe at Securum and Hoist. Peter Buttenschön began his career within Corporate Banking at Nordea in Sweden. He is a member of Henderson’s European Executive Team. Rodney heads up the European Business Development team and is responsible for structuring and placing property products. After being Sales Manager and general Manager of Fadif Sa, a company promoting real estate investments, he becomes the Italian branch Director of Healey & Baker, now Cushman & Wakefi eld. In 1996 he takes up the charge of General Manager in Sopai, a French investment company; three years later he becomes Managing Director of the Italian branch and Advisory of the European Board of TMW AG. From 2000 he is Chief Executive Officer of Aedes S.p.A. He served as chief of staff for the Vice-Minister of Finance and Economy from 1986 to 1988. In 1991, he joined Compagnie Bancaire and was appointed, after the Paribas-Compagnie Bancaire merger, to a seat on the Paribas Executive Committee as the senior executive in charge of real estate and pooled corporate services. He became Chairman and Chief Executive of Klépierre in 1997 and has been Chairman of Klépierre’s Executive Board since 1998. Rupert Clarke joined Hermes in January 2004 as Head of Property, responsible for a team of 38 professionals and over £5 billion net of real estate assets under management. Prior to joining Hermes, Rupert was managing director of Jones Lang LaSalle Corporate Finance, managing multiple Real Estate investments and fi nancings in the UK and Continental Europe. Rupert trained in Real Estate fi nance, spending fi ve years with Chase Manhattan Bank.

Prior to this he worked as an investment banker at Deutsche Bank in London, specialising in Mergers & Acquisitions. Dr. Clemens began his career as Attorney at Law at Freshfi elds Bruckhaus Deringer in Düsseldorf. Peter Collins is Head of Global investment for DTZ based in London. Peter joined DTZ in 2000 and prior to that, Peter was the Regional Managing Director for Colliers Jardine located in Singapore. He has also worked for Richard Ellis where his last position was Deputy Managing Director for its Spanish operation. He has strong European and Asian experiences and has advised and handled transactions in United Kingdom, Spain, Scandinavia, Austria, Greece, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, China, India and Australia. Based in Hamburg, Johannes Conradi is co-head of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer’s global real estate practice group. He advises domestic and international investors, real estate developers and fi nancial institutions on all aspects of real estate transactions and project development. He joined the firm in 1993 and became a partner in 1998. He is qualifi ed as a German Rechtsanwalt and a solicitor in England and Wales. He started his career in consultancy as Director of the A.T. Kearney Management Consultant Paris offi ce. In 1980, he joined the Pechiney group as VP Pechiney Asia-Pacifi c and then became a Director of Compagnie de Suez. Mr Dayries is a civil engineer and holds an MBA from INSEAD. Prior to creating STAM he launched TRANSINVEST in 1992, one of the fi rst specialized real estate investment banking fi rms in France. Previously he operated a seed-capital investment company in partnership with the Liechtenstein family and a construction company active in the Middle East. He holds master degrees in Political Science, Economy, Law and Philosophy from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques of Paris and universities of Paris. Antoine de Broglie is Chairman of the French ULI.
