Jürgen Herre is senior offi cer of Hines Europe responsible
for fi nancing of major projects in Europe, dispositions and
in conceptualising new funds and the subsequent money
raising for those funds. He has 20 years experience in the
International Real Estate business, both in Europe and
the U.S.
As Head of European Research at Property & Portfolio
Research, Peter Hobbs PhD MRICS, advises investors on
prospects for European real estate. He is responsible for the
firm’s global coverage and advises on investment strategies
across Europe, the U.S. and Asia. Peter divides his time
equally between the U.S. and Europe. He is a member of the
RICS, a European Council member of ULI, a member of the
IREL Editorial Board and Visiting Professor at Nottingham Trent
University.

Jon Hodnett has been based in JER Partners’ London offi ce
for the last fi ve years where he shares responsibility for JER’s
acquisition and asset management activities on continental
Europe. Before moving to the London offi ce Jon was based in
Asia where he represented JER in Thailand, South Korea and
Japan. In Thailand he was the Managing Director of the JER
Thailand Property Fund, a tax-exempt vehicle for the acquisition
of real estate and loan portfolios.
Tony Horrell is an International Director and European Board
member of Jones Lang LaSalle with over 22 years industry
experience. He leads a team of over 220 capital markets
professionals based in 17 countries across Europe with over
Euro 14 billion of sales, acquisition and corporate fi nance
transactions a year, over half of them cross-border. Previous
experience was in the City of London offi ce market. He holds
a BSc from the University of Portsmouth and an MBA from the
University of Buckingham.

Katie Hostalier is Head of Structured Finance Research at
Commerzbank Securities in London. Prior to entering research
in September 2002, Katie was part of the Securitisation
Group at Société Générale for two and a half years, supporting
the origination, structuring and distribution of ABS and MBS
transactions mainly out of Spain, Portugal, Italy and the
UK. Before SG, Katie gained an insight into the Asia-Pacific
securitisation market while working at Tokyo-Mitsubishi
International. She holds a BSc in International Business from
Aston University in Birmingham and a Masters in Management
from the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Grenoble, France.
ANNI HÖNICKE started her professional career in banking in
the beginning of the 80’s and was engaged in commercial
property fi nancing in the UK and Continental Europe since
the mid-80’s. For Eurohypo, respectively Rheinhyp as one of
Eurohypo’s predecessor’s she opened offi ces in Amsterdam,
London, Paris, Stockholm, Brussels and most recently
Copenhagen. Over the last two decades she was responsible
for the origination and execution of transactions of a volume in
excess of €20 bn which the bank had underwritten at one time
or another. As Head of Corporate Banking Continental Europe
at Eurohypo she is involved in all major property transactions
occurring in Northern and Western Europe.

Steven Ivankovich, Executive VP of Alliance Holdings, LLC, one
of the largest owners and operators of multi family apartments
in the US, has been in the real estate business for over 10
years. He has been involved in the assembly of apartment
portfolios totaling over 70,000 units, and over US$3.5 billion
of transaction value. He oversees daily the fi rm’s acquisition,
management and construction operations. Mr. Ivankovich is an
honors graduate of the University of Chicago.
Nick Jacobson is a Managing Director, responsible for
Deutsche Bank’s Real Estate Investment Banking activities in
Europe and Asia. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Nick was a
Managing Director at JP Morgan responsible for European Real
Estate Investment Banking and has advised on numerous high
profile M&A and capital market transactions. Nick has Bachelor
of Commerce and Bachelor of Law degrees and has provided
Real Estate Investment Banking services to leading companies
in Australia, Belgium, The Netherlands, France, Germany, UK,
Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
