In Thailand he was the Managing Director of the JER Thailand Property Fund, a tax-exempt vehicle for the acquisition of real estate and loan portfolios. Tony Horrell is an International Director and European Board member of Jones Lang LaSalle with over 22 years industry experience. He leads a team of over 220 capital markets professionals based in 17 countries across Europe with over Euro 14 billion of sales, acquisition and corporate fi nance transactions a year, over half of them cross-border. Previous experience was in the City of London offi ce market. He holds a BSc from the University of Portsmouth and an MBA from the University of Buckingham. Prior to entering research in September 2002, Katie was part of the Securitisation Group at Société Générale for two and a half years, supporting the origination, structuring and distribution of ABS and MBS transactions mainly out of Spain, Portugal, Italy and the UK. Before SG, Katie gained an insight into the Asia-Pacific securitisation market while working at Tokyo-Mitsubishi International. She holds a BSc in International Business from Aston University in Birmingham and a Masters in Management from the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Grenoble, France. ANNI HÖNICKE started her professional career in banking in the beginning of the 80’s and was engaged in commercial property fi nancing in the UK and Continental Europe since the mid-80’s. For Eurohypo, respectively Rheinhyp as one of Eurohypo’s predecessor’s she opened offi ces in Amsterdam, London, Paris, Stockholm, Brussels and most recently Copenhagen. Over the last two decades she was responsible for the origination and execution of transactions of a volume in excess of €20 bn which the bank had underwritten at one time or another. As Head of Corporate Banking Continental Europe at Eurohypo she is involved in all major property transactions occurring in Northern and Western Europe. He oversees daily the fi rm’s acquisition, management and construction operations. Mr. Ivankovich is an honors graduate of the University of Chicago. Nick Jacobson is a Managing Director, responsible for Deutsche Bank’s Real Estate Investment Banking activities in Europe and Asia. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Nick was a Managing Director at JP Morgan responsible for European Real Estate Investment Banking and has advised on numerous high profile M&A and capital market transactions. Nick has Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Law degrees and has provided Real Estate Investment Banking services to leading companies in Australia, Belgium, The Netherlands, France, Germany, UK, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.

He is currently Head of Business and Industry Relations at WWF International. He has been involved in developing a range of partnerships including with Lafarge, ABB, Assidöman, and HSBC. Jean-Paul joined WWF UK in 1990 as joint Head of the Forest Programme moving to WWF International secretariat, Switzerland in 1994 as Head of the Forests for Life Programme. Before joining WWF he worked for ten years in Asia and Africa as a project manager, forester and researcher for a number of aid and development organizations Gareth Jones moved to Warsaw In 1999 to join the Jones Lang LaSalle CEE Capital Markets Group. At the beginning of 2002 Gareth assumed a leadership role for Capital Markets in Central and Eastern Europe (Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary and Russia). The Capital Markets Group incorporates 13 dedicated professionals based in the region, with two London based retail investment specialists who spend the majority of their time in the region. Over a three year period this team has closed over €1.8 billion transactions in the region. He began his career as a construction manager for a Boston general contractor and a project manager for real estate development. Jonathan Kern is GE Real Estate’s Global Chief Investment Offi cer. Jonathan provides overall strategic direction for the business, especially in penetrating new markets and in formulating asset class strategies. Jonathan spent ten years at J. E. Robert Company, the last six as President and Chief Investment Offi cer. He graduated cum laude from Harvard University with a BA in Economics and received an MBA with distinction from The Wharton School.
