Benoît du Passage is an International Director of Jones Lang<br />

LaSalle and a member of the European Board and Managing<br />

Director of Southern Europe. He joined the fi rm in 1985, after<br />

4 years in the banking sector. He spent 8 years in Spain,<br />

starting/opening up the Barcelona offi ce, then moving on to<br />

Madrid, to become General Manager. He then transferred to<br />

Paris in 1995, taking up his current role. Personal specialities -<br />

offi ce leasing, cross-border business development, commercial<br />

property acquisitions.<br />

Jean-Paul DUMORTIER has been CEO of EMGP, a french<br />

property company (SIIC) since October 1998. Prior to this he<br />

was CEO of Société Foncière des Pimonts and had spent many<br />

years in senior roles in the real estate investment banking<br />

sector. Jean-Paul Dumortier is also Chairman of FSIF, the<br />

French association of real estate investment companies. EMGP<br />

specialises in offi ces and industrial in the North East of Paris.<br />

Nicolas Durand is an Executive Director of Lazard. He is a<br />

member of the <strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong> Investment Banking team based<br />

in Paris. Nicolas joined Lazard in 1998. He previously worked<br />

for Bouygues, Immobilière Hotelière, Banque Stern and<br />

Compagnie Bancaire. He has been involved in most of the real<br />

estate and lodging transactions in which Lazard has played an<br />

advisory role in Paris and recently the takeover of Sophia by GE<br />

<strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong>. He is a graduate of Ecole Centrale and a CPA.<br />

Jeremy Eddy is Lead National Director of the Jones Lang<br />

LaSalle European Retail Capital Markets Team. The team<br />

works across Europe advising investors and developers in all<br />

areas of the European Retail Capital Markets business.<br />

Jeremy joined Jones Lang LaSalle in 1998. He has worked<br />

across Europe working with clients including Macif, Deka,<br />

Lend Lease, TrizecHahn, DePfa, Eurocommercial, Royal and<br />

Sun Alliance, Hammerson and Rodamco and has concluded<br />

transactions in Sweden, Denmark, France, Belgium Swizerland,<br />

Italy, Spain and Portugal.<br />

Urban Edenström is the founder of the NewSec Group, its<br />

Chief Executive Offi cer and largest shareholder. He was also<br />

the founder of Datscha in 1997 and NIAM in 1998. The<br />

NewSec Group consists of five daughter companies supplying<br />

services within Corporate Services, Investor Services, Property<br />

Management, Investment Management (NIAM) and Information<br />

on the Internet (Datscha). Urban Edenström holds a Master of<br />

Science in <strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong> Economics from the Royal <strong>Institute</strong> of<br />

Technology in Stockholm.<br />

Tony Edgley is Chairman of Jones Lang LaSalle Corporate<br />

Finance. He has been with the company for over 20 years, 8<br />

of which were spent in New York and 2 commuting to South<br />

East Asia. He has been responsible for setting up private<br />

equity institutional funds and companies. He has followed<br />

international capital, acting across borders in joint ventures,<br />

corporate sales, structured finance, and more recently<br />

corporate advisory and sale and leaseback transactions.<br />

Fredrik joined the <strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong> Private Fund Group at CSFB in<br />

March 2001. Before that he spent three years with the Capital<br />

Markets Group of Security Capital. His responsibilities included<br />

structuring and placing private indirect real estate investment<br />

vehicles, managed by dedicated and focused management<br />

teams. Prior to that, Fredrik spent three years at Lehman<br />

Brothers and eight with CSFB, marketing equities and equity<br />

related products to institutional investors in Europe and the<br />

Middle East. He has also been involved with structuring and<br />

managing balanced investment portfolios for high-net-worth<br />

private investors.<br />

Alec Emmott MA MRICS is a graduate of Trinity College,<br />

Cambridge and holds an M.A. in Land Economy. After working<br />

in South Africa, the US and the UK, he moved to France in<br />

1973 and joined SFL in 1995 as advisor to the Chairman. In<br />

1997 he was appointed Managing Director. Alec Emmott is<br />

also director of IPD France, the European Public <strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong><br />

Association (EPRA), and the Institut d’Epargne Immobilière et<br />

Foncière (IEIF).
