Oliver is head of the German capital markets practice and<br />
specialises in the fi eld of complex international capital markets<br />
transactions, including securitisation and the transfer of loan<br />
portfolios, particularly NPL portfolios. He is currently advising<br />
a leading German bank on the transfer risk of a NPL portfolio<br />
in the context of a credit derivatives transaction. Oliver is listed<br />
in the 2004 Euromoney expert guide as one of the World’s<br />
Leading Capital Markets Lawyers.<br />
Robert is head of the international property practice and the<br />
client partner for a number of the fi rm’s major property clients.<br />
He lectures on property finance and corporate outsourcing in<br />
the UK Europe and Asia. Robert is co-editor of Property Joint<br />
Ventures - Structures and Precedents (Second Edition - Sweet<br />
& Maxwell 2001). He is a “Leading Individual” practitioner in<br />
Chambers Directory 2003 and in the Legal 500, 2003.<br />

Born in 1948, Walter Klug was MD at DB <strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong><br />
Investment from 1999 to mid 2004 with responsibility for<br />
sales, marketing and public relations of both the open-ended<br />
and closed end funds departments of DB <strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong> Germany.<br />
Mr. Klug was previously member of the board of Deutsche<br />
Bank’s home loan bank DB Bauspar for nine years, following<br />
several years of experience in property finance. Walter Klug<br />
taught constructions finance and real estate economics at Ulm<br />
University (1985 - 1991). Mr Klug attented Harvard University<br />
for the Advanced Management Program. In August 2004, his<br />
book “ Offene Immobilienfonds” - Zeit für stabile Werte “ was<br />
published in Frankfurt.<br />

Bernd Knobloch was born in 1951 in Muenchen, Germany.<br />
Mr. Knobloch has served as Deputy Chairman of the Board<br />
of Managing Directors of the new Eurohypo AG (merger of<br />
Deutsche Hyp AG, Eurohypo AG and Rheinhyp AG), Frankfurt,<br />
Germany, since August 2002 and as Member of the Board<br />
of Managing Directors of Eurohypo Aktiengesellschaft der<br />
Deutschen Bank since 1992. Mr. Knobloch serves on the<br />
boards of VINCI Deutschland GmbH, Ludwigshafen, Germany,<br />
DB <strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong> Investment GmbH, Eschborn, Germany, and<br />
Europäische Hypothekenbank S.A., Luxembourg. He received a<br />
degree in business administration as well as a law degree. He<br />
is admitted to the German Bar since 1979.<br />

Barbara A. Knofl ach has been Managing Director of SEB<br />
Immobilien-Investment GmbH since June 1999. After<br />
graduating in business administration she joined Deutsche<br />
Bank International Project Finance Group in 1986. In 1991 she<br />
moved to the banks real estate arm, the Deutsche Immobilien<br />
Anlagengesellschaft. She joined SEB AG’s closed-end property<br />
fund team in 1994.<br />

Capital France SA Michel Koch is a graduate of Faculté de<br />
Droit Paris-Assas, Institut de Droit des Affaires Paris-Panthéon<br />

business has involved positions as developer, investor, asset<br />
manager and bank manager of real estate departments in<br />
several national and international structures. Michel Koch<br />

Mr Kountouris is Managing Director of DLJ <strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong> Capital<br />
Partners. Prior to RECP, Mr Kountouris was ten years Managing<br />
Director and European Co-Head of the Deutsche Bank <strong>Real</strong><br />
<strong>Estate</strong> Private Equity Group, holding a variety of positions,<br />
including managing the advisory and principal business<br />
in Continental Europe and Scandinavia. Prior to Deutsche<br />
Bank, he spent four years at Lazard Brothers. He began his<br />
investment banking career at Salomon Brothers. From 1983<br />
to 1986, he was <strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong> Portfolio Manager at the General<br />
Motors Pension Fund. Mr Kountouris holds a Ph.D. in Civil<br />
Engineering from MIT and an MBA from Harvard Business<br />
School.<br />
Markus is responsible for the investment strategy and portfolio<br />
management of R+V’s real estate portfolio, valued at over<br />
Euro 2 bn. Until late 2003 he was with the MEAG Group in<br />
Munich, responsible for the strategic management of the<br />
Munich Reinsurance Company and ERGO <strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong> property<br />
portfolios. He has a university degree in economics, is MRICS<br />
and board member of INREV. Age 35.
