Michael is currently Vice President within Aareal Bank’s <strong>Real</strong><br />

<strong>Estate</strong> Structured Finance division, based in Wiesbaden,<br />

Germany. Since joining Aareal Bank he has been involved<br />

in the origination of commercial real estate investment and<br />

development loans based in Amsterdam, thereafter in Berlin<br />

and more recently out of Wiesbaden, for various international<br />

markets in Western and Eastern Europe and increasingly<br />

now in the new emerging markets with a special emphasis<br />

on logistics property finance. He has extensive experience in<br />

single-country single asset loans, portfolio financings as well<br />

as cross-border financing structures.<br />

Omar El-Arini was the first Chief Officer of the Multilateral<br />

Fund for the Implementation of the Montreal Protocol.<br />

During his tenure from February 1991 to October 2003, a<br />

near universal ratification of the Protocol was achieved and<br />

the Fund resources grew from virtually no money to some<br />

US$1.5 billion. These funds have been disbursed to over<br />

130 developing countries to assist their compliance with the<br />

Protocol’s control measures, and have been largely credited<br />

with the developing countries’ achievement of a 50% reduction<br />

in their consumption of some of the most damaging ozonedepleting<br />

substances, chlorofluorocarbons.<br />

Ahsan Ellahi Managing Director Head of European Structured<br />

Finance has rejoined Eurohypo in September 2007. Previously<br />

he was Head of <strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong> Finance Europe for HSBC’s<br />

Corporate & Institutional Banking Division. Ahsan has been a<br />

banker for 27 years and involved in all aspects of <strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong><br />

Finance for 21 years. This involvement has been both on debt,<br />

equity and capital markets areas of finance. Ahsan has a<br />

BSc(Econ) from University College London and is a member of<br />

the APB, IPF and ACIB.<br />

Steve is founder and President of RCP Development Company,<br />

a Washington, DC based institutional development company.<br />

Steve has been actively involved in the acquisition, financing,<br />

development, asset management and disposition of numerous<br />

institutional-grade residential and mixed-use projects in the<br />

Washington, DC area. His experience includes over $ 1 billion<br />

in re transactions, creating over $350 million in value. Prior to<br />

the formation of RCP, Steve was the VP of Development and<br />

a member of the Executive Management Committee for Post<br />

Properties, Inc., where he was responsible for all acquisition<br />

and development activities for the Washington, DC region. Prior<br />

to joining Post Properties, Steve was the VP of Development<br />

and Acquisitions for JPI.<br />

Levent Eyüboglu has been in commercial real estate market<br />

for more than 15 years, managing the development of many<br />

projects in various cities of Turkey. Currently, Eyüboglu is CEO<br />

of Multi Turkmall, the Turkish subsidiary of Multi Corporation,<br />

a leading company in Europe in the field of developing, owning<br />

and operating shopping centres, offices and mixed-use<br />

projects; and Member of the Board at Multi Corporation.<br />

Eyüboglu is also CEO and Member of the Executive Board<br />

of Turkmall; and a Board Member of IKEA-Turkey, Romania<br />

and Bulgaria. Eyüboglu holds a bachelors degree in Industrial<br />

Engineering and is fluent in French and English.<br />
