Robert Watson is Chief Executive Officer of ProLogis European
Properties (PEPR), a public fund trading on the Euronext
stock exchange in Amsterdam. From 2004 to 2006, he was
President and Chief Operating Officer of North America for
ProLogis. Mr. Watson has been with ProLogis since 1992.
Previous to this, he spent nearly 19 years with real estate
provider Trammell Crow Company, where he was a member of
the Management Board. ProLogis European Properties is a
leading pan-European owner of high quality distribution and
logistics facilities.
Dr. Christina Weiss is Member of the Executive Board of mfi
Management für Immobilien AG one of the leading German
shopping centre developers and operators. She finished her
studies at the University of Illinois, US, and at the Humboldt
University of Berlin, Germany, by earning a PhD in International
Management and Economics. After more than 10 years of
experience in different positions inside the real estate sector,
she is now responsible at mfi AG for Controlling, Organisation,
HR and has a today’s focus on International Expansion. mfi
AG is one of the leading developers and operators of inner-city
shopping centres.

Charles joined McCafferty in 2002. He has been involved in
the property business for over 20 years and has developed
an unrivalled expertise in both the residential and commercial
property markets. In his role for McCafferty, Charles
seeks commercial and residential development investment
opportunities on behalf of McCafferty in both the UK and
Europe. In particular, he has played a leading role in advising
Numisma as it established a Euro 1 billion property portfolio
in Germany and Switzerland. Charles’ responsibilities include
putting together joint venture deals and leading a team
of overseas lawyers in the purchase of all properties/
developments.
Henry Wilkes, a Director of Savills, has 18 year‚s property
experience. He joined Savills in 1998 and heads the Central
& Eastern European Residential Property Investments
Division, providing investment advice to a wide range of clients
including; investment funds, property companies, developers
and specialist investors. Henry has an extensive range of
residential, commercial and agricultural property experience,
working in Central & Eastern Europe since 1994 on both
private investment and Government funded projects. Including
advising the Polish Government on development of their land
market, an investment fund in Hungary and joint ventures
between residential developers and investment vehicles.

Janet, Principal Banker, has been in the Property and Tourism
team of the EBRD since 2003 and has been active in equity
and debt transactions in funds, companies, and development
projects in the EBRD‚s countries of operation. At the EBRD
she is responsible for business development with American,
Canadian, and Israeli clients and represents the Bank on
the investment committees of several funds. Prior to this,
Janet worked for ING Clarion Real Estate in the US for three
years. EBRD Property Team finances both debt and equity in
real estate developments, funds, and property companies in
ex-Soviet Europe.
Born in Turkey in 1965. Obtained his BA in Bosphorus
University (Istanbul), BA Department in 1989. Received his
first MA from Marmara University (Istanbul), EU Institute.
Received his second MA from College of Europe in Bruges,
Belgium. Continuing his PhD in Marmara University (Istanbul),
EU Institute. Worked for Istanbul Textile Exporters Association
(ITKIB) between 1991 and 1993. Joined DEBANT, a Turkish
industrial packaging material manufacturer, in 1994. He
served as Deputy General Manager and Board Member until
2006. Became General Manager of HAN YAPI Properties at the
end of 2006. Board Member of European Textile Association
for Polyolefins (EATP) until end 2006. Board Member of
European FIBC Association (EFIBCA) until end 2006.
