Robert Watson is Chief Executive Officer of ProLogis European<br />
Properties (PEPR), a public fund trading on the Euronext<br />
stock exchange in Amsterdam. From 2004 to 2006, he was<br />
President and Chief Operating Officer of North America for<br />
ProLogis. Mr. Watson has been with ProLogis since 1992.<br />
Previous to this, he spent nearly 19 years with real estate<br />
provider Trammell Crow Company, where he was a member of<br />
the Management Board. ProLogis European Properties is a<br />
leading pan-European owner of high quality distribution and<br />
logistics facilities.<br />
Dr. Christina Weiss is Member of the Executive Board of mfi<br />
Management für Immobilien AG one of the leading German<br />
shopping centre developers and operators. She finished her<br />
studies at the University of Illinois, US, and at the Humboldt<br />
University of Berlin, Germany, by earning a PhD in International<br />
Management and Economics. After more than 10 years of<br />
experience in different positions inside the real estate sector,<br />
she is now responsible at mfi AG for Controlling, Organisation,<br />
HR and has a today’s focus on International Expansion. mfi<br />
AG is one of the leading developers and operators of inner-city<br />
shopping centres.<br />

Charles joined McCafferty in 2002. He has been involved in<br />
the property business for over 20 years and has developed<br />
an unrivalled expertise in both the residential and commercial<br />
property markets. In his role for McCafferty, Charles<br />
seeks commercial and residential development investment<br />
opportunities on behalf of McCafferty in both the UK and<br />
Europe. In particular, he has played a leading role in advising<br />
Numisma as it established a Euro 1 billion property portfolio<br />
in Germany and Switzerland. Charles’ responsibilities include<br />
putting together joint venture deals and leading a team<br />
of overseas lawyers in the purchase of all properties/<br />
developments.<br />
Henry Wilkes, a Director of Savills, has 18 year‚s property<br />
experience. He joined Savills in 1998 and heads the Central<br />
& Eastern European Residential Property Investments<br />
Division, providing investment advice to a wide range of clients<br />
including; investment funds, property companies, developers<br />
and specialist investors. Henry has an extensive range of<br />
residential, commercial and agricultural property experience,<br />
working in Central & Eastern Europe since 1994 on both<br />
private investment and Government funded projects. Including<br />
advising the Polish Government on development of their land<br />
market, an investment fund in Hungary and joint ventures<br />
between residential developers and investment vehicles.<br />

Janet, Principal Banker, has been in the Property and Tourism<br />
team of the EBRD since 2003 and has been active in equity<br />
and debt transactions in funds, companies, and development<br />
projects in the EBRD‚s countries of operation. At the EBRD<br />
she is responsible for business development with American,<br />
Canadian, and Israeli clients and represents the Bank on<br />
the investment committees of several funds. Prior to this,<br />
Janet worked for ING Clarion <strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong> in the US for three<br />
years. EBRD Property Team finances both debt and equity in<br />
real estate developments, funds, and property companies in<br />
ex-Soviet Europe.<br />
Born in Turkey in 1965. Obtained his BA in Bosphorus<br />
University (Istanbul), BA Department in 1989. Received his<br />
first MA from Marmara University (Istanbul), EU <strong>Institute</strong>.<br />
Received his second MA from College of Europe in Bruges,<br />
Belgium. Continuing his PhD in Marmara University (Istanbul),<br />
EU <strong>Institute</strong>. Worked for Istanbul Textile Exporters Association<br />
(ITKIB) between 1991 and 1993. Joined DEBANT, a Turkish<br />
industrial packaging material manufacturer, in 1994. He<br />
served as Deputy General Manager and Board Member until<br />
2006. Became General Manager of HAN YAPI Properties at the<br />
end of 2006. Board Member of European Textile Association<br />
for Polyolefins (EATP) until end 2006. Board Member of<br />
European FIBC Association (EFIBCA) until end 2006.
