Rodney Pereira is MD Direct <strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong> Europe for European<br />
Investors Netherlands (EII BV). Prior to joining EII, Rodney was<br />
Head of International Acquisitions for Industrial Securities<br />
Management (ISM). He also held a variety of positions with<br />
DTZ International, including that of Chief Operating Officer<br />
of DTZ Iberica. Rodney Holds a Master degree in European<br />
Property Development and Planning from UCL and an MBA<br />
from Instituto de Empresa.<br />

Roger is overall responsible for the development of the Turkish<br />
market. Prior to this, he had assignments from investors<br />
in Romania, Russia and Hungary such as <strong>Global</strong> Finance,<br />
TriGranit and an Israeli private investor. From 1998 to 2006<br />
he was Vice President Development at ProLogis in Hungary,<br />
Romania, Sweden, Belgium and The Netherlands. Between<br />
1997 and 1991, he worked with Amsterdam Airport Schiphol,<br />
an office developer in Amsterdam and The Netherlands<br />
Foreign Investment Agency in New York. He holds a MA<br />
Degree in Regional Economics, a BA Degree in Marketing and<br />
Communication, University of Amsterdam and a BA Degree<br />
in Geography & History and enjoys to speak Dutch, English,<br />
German, French, Swedish and Romanian.<br />

Bernard Phang is an Executive Vice President in GIC <strong>Real</strong><br />
<strong>Estate</strong> Pte Ltd. He has been based in GIC RE’s London<br />
office since 2000 with responsibilities for the company’s<br />
investment activities in Europe covering direct and indirect<br />
investments in the equity as well as the debt markets.Before<br />
coming to Europe, Bernard Phang was based in GIC RE’s USA<br />
and Singapore offices covering the American and the Asian<br />
markets respectively. In addtion, he also has good exposure<br />
to private equity investing, having worked in that area a<br />
number of years.<br />
Ms. Lata Pillai, is the Director in Deutsche Bank’s Commercial<br />
<strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong> Group. She has experience in the <strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong><br />
Industry for over seven years. In her role as Director she<br />
heads the CREG desk in India, and is responsible for<br />
Investments as well as lending in this sector. She joined<br />
Deutsche Bank after spending 18 years with ICICI Bank,<br />
leaving as Deputy General Manager. As the Deputy GM, Lata<br />
headed the Commercial <strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong> department. When with<br />
ICICI, Lata has handled various sectors and prior to her stint in<br />
the <strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong> Industry she was involved in Project finance in<br />
the oil and Petrochemicals sector. Ms. Lata holds a degree in<br />
Masters in Management Studies from the Mumbai University.<br />

Russell Platt is Managing Director and Chief Executive<br />
Officer of Forum Partners. Mr. Platt is chairman of Forum’s<br />
investment committee and oversees Forum’s three private<br />
equity funds in Europe and Asia, which together total over<br />
Euro 900 million in assets. Mr. Platt also sits on the Board<br />
of Directors of Deutsche Immobilien Chancen AG & Co KGaA.<br />
Prior to establishing Forum, Mr. Platt enjoyed a 20 year career<br />
in real estate finance and investment in Europe and North<br />
America.<br />
S.G. Prabhakharan is the Promoter and Vice Chairman of<br />
XS <strong>Real</strong> Properties Private Limited (Brand - ‘XS <strong>Real</strong>’), a<br />
transparent and professionally run company based at<br />
Chennai, India, with 2 SPVs executing FDI compliant projects<br />
in partnership with Government of Singapore Investment<br />
Corporation Group (GIC RE). Pioneered the concept of<br />
‘Bungalow Apartments’ and combined Thematic Architecture in<br />
projects. Won several Awards - ‘Best Builder’ and ‘Outstanding<br />
Structure’. Was a Corporate Lawyer. Pioneered Time Share<br />
Concept. Was Instrumental in setting up the First Private<br />
Sector Mutual Fund in India and was on its Board for 10 years.<br />
