FUND MANAGEMENT<br />
Hans-Joachim Kühl’s areas of responsibility include the<br />
worldwide acquisition and disposition of properties for the real<br />
estate investment products managed by Commerz <strong>Real</strong>. Hans-<br />
Joachim joined the Group in 1998. For many years he was in<br />
charge of real estate acquisition activities for Commerz <strong>Real</strong>’s<br />
hausInvest europa, Europe’s largest open-ended real estate<br />
fund. Hans-Joachim was active in the letting and marketing<br />
area of Daimler Benz Immobilienmanagement before he<br />
transferred to Commerz <strong>Real</strong>. Commerz <strong>Real</strong> is one of the<br />
world’s largest real state asset managers and providers of<br />
leasing and investment solutions.<br />
Mr. Lam is Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the<br />
VinaCapital Group. He has overseen the company’s growth<br />
from the management of a single US$10 million fund in 2003,<br />
into becoming a full-featured investment house managing four<br />
funds worth over US$2.2 billion and offering a complete range<br />
of corporate finance and real estate advisory services. In the<br />
last year, Mr. Lam has brought three new funds to the market:<br />
the US$600 million VinaLand Limited Fund, which invests in<br />
Vietnamese real estate assets; the DFJ VinaCapital Technology<br />
Fund, a venture capital fund managed in cooperation with Draper<br />
Fisher Jurvetson; and the Vietnam Infrastructure Fund, the first<br />
fund dedicated to infrastructure development in Vietnam.<br />

Robert Lamb began his career in television as a graduate<br />
trainee with the BBC. After three years as a sub-editor and<br />
reporter, he moved to an ITV network station making a weekly<br />
current affairs programme. Robert Lamb later joined the<br />
Earthscan team at the International <strong>Institute</strong> for Environment<br />
and Development. He established with Anil Agarwal, the first<br />
environmental news features service. At the beginning of the<br />
1980s Lamb was with the International Union for Conservation<br />
of Nature in Switzerland as a communications chief. He later<br />
joined the United Nations Environment Programme in Nairobi<br />
as a science writer. .<br />
Mr. Lee currently runs European real estate principal investing<br />
for Marathon Asset Management out of the firm’s London<br />
office. Marathon is a US-based hedge fund with approximately<br />
$9 billion of assets under management. Prior to joining<br />
Marathon, Mr. Lee was a partner and Managing Director of<br />
Starwood Capital Europe. Mr. Lee opened and ran the US<br />
real estate private equity firm’s London office, and has been<br />
involved in $4 billion of European real estate asset and<br />
corporate investments.
