Paramblynotus marginatus Liu and Kovalev,<br />

new species<br />

FEMALE:<br />

Length 4.0 mm. Body black<br />

almost entirely, only metasoma anteriorly<br />

and posteroventrally and legs dark brown.<br />

Wings transparent.<br />

Upper face longitudinally carinate laterally;<br />

antennal scrobe glabrous and densely<br />

punctate. Median frontal carina distinctly<br />

present between antennal sockets and diverging<br />

posteriorly to delimit a glabrous<br />

triangular area anterior to anterior ocellus.<br />

Lower face entirely foveate-rugose. Clypeopleurostomal<br />

sulcus and epistomal sulcus<br />

form a smoothly curved arch. Clypeus<br />

slightly raised medially, foveate-rugose, and<br />

pubescent anteriorly. Anterior tentorial pits<br />

distinct. Gena foveate-reticulate with dense<br />

pubescence. Vertex foveate-reticulate, and<br />

foveae set in rows between longitudinal<br />

carinae. Occiput glabrous; sparsely punctate<br />

with pubescence.<br />

Anterior flange <strong>of</strong> pronotum glabrous.<br />

Anterior plate <strong>of</strong> pronotum before lateral<br />

pronotal carinae glabrate and sparsely punctate<br />

with pubescence anteriorly, and mostly<br />

coarsely and densely punctate with pubescence.<br />

Pronotum dorsomedially strongly<br />

raised, slightly higher than <strong>the</strong> highest point<br />

<strong>of</strong> mesoscutum in lateral view. Pronotal crest<br />

distinctly raised and medially not emarginate.<br />

Lateral pronotal carina distinct, extending<br />

dorsomedially to nearly meet pronotal crest.<br />

Lateral surface <strong>of</strong> pronotum foveate-reticulate.<br />

Dorsal pronotal area transversely costate<br />

and complete to end <strong>of</strong> dorsal posterior<br />

margin <strong>of</strong> pronotum, but narrowed distinctly<br />

posteriorly. Mesoscutum foveate-reticulate<br />

with foveae set in rows between transverse<br />

costae. Mesoscutellum foveate-reticulate;<br />

sloping posterolaterally and strongly raised<br />

posteromedially, making dorsal surface <strong>of</strong><br />

mesoscutellum almost flat in lateral view.<br />

Mesopleural triangle distinctly depressed and<br />

pubescent. Upper mesopleuron glabrous except<br />

anteriorly punctate with pubescence;<br />

speculum glabrous. Longitudinal mesopleural<br />

impression percurrent with several<br />

more or less evenly distributed transverse<br />

costae. Lower mesopleuron glabrous with<br />

sparse pubescence. Metanotal-propodeal<br />

complex foveate-rugose with dense pubescence,<br />

except upper metepisternum glabrous.<br />

Lateral propodeal carina strongly curved<br />

laterally and medially indistinct; median<br />

propodeal area areolate-reticulate.<br />

Abdominal petiole 0.6 times as long as<br />

wide in lateral view. Relative length <strong>of</strong> T3–8:<br />

2:1:1.2:3.5:1:1. T4–8 densely finely punctate;<br />

T6–8 also with a few slightly larger setigerous<br />

punctures set in one or two rows. All legs<br />

densely punctate with pubescence except<br />

metacoxa dorsally glabrous. Metatibia apically<br />

with four slender, pointed teeth. 1mt/<br />

2–5mt 5 0.75.<br />

DIAGNOSIS: The new species is similar to<br />

P. pausatus, n.sp. but it can be easily<br />

distinguished by <strong>the</strong> following characters:<br />

pronotal crest medially not emarginate, gena<br />

glabrate posteriorly at lower part, and<br />

coarsely punctate elsewhere, and T6 about<br />

3.5 times as long as T4.<br />

coll. (ZISP).<br />

DISTRIBUTION: Russia: Primorsk.<br />

Paramblynotus pausatus Liu and Kovalev,<br />

new species<br />

FEMALE:<br />

Length 3.4 mm. Body black<br />

entirely, except antenna and legs dark<br />

brown. Wings transparent, slightly tinted<br />

yellow and more so in marginal and submarginal<br />

cells.<br />

Upper face asperous laterally; antennal<br />

scrobe densely punctate with scarce longitudinal<br />

carinae posteriorly. Median frontal<br />

carina distinctly present between antennal<br />

sockets and bifurcated posteriorly to delimit<br />

a glabrous triangular area anterior to anterior<br />

ocellus. A second carina parallel and<br />

laterad to <strong>the</strong> divergent carina is also present.<br />

Vertex foveate-reticulate. Lower face and<br />

clypeus entirely foveate-rugose. Clypeopleurostomal<br />

sulcus and epistomal sulcus<br />

form a smoothly curved arch. Anterior<br />

tentorial pits distinct. Gena foveate-rugose.
