and damping curves. Plasticity Index dependent curves developed by Vucetic and Dobry (1991)<br />

and confining stress dependent curves developed by Seed et al. (1984) were used to model<br />

modulus and damping ratio for cohesive and cohesionless soils, respectively. The modulus<br />

reduction and soil damping curves used in this study are shown in Figures 8.11 and 8.12.<br />
