20. OTHER FUNCTION<br />
1) DYNAMIC CHROMA : Dynamic chroma ON/OFF setting<br />
• OFF : Dynamic chroma function becomes ineffective.<br />
• ON : Improves coloration in bright scene components.<br />
2) DNR : Digital noise reduction setting<br />
The noise in the image is reduced. (However, the image resolution<br />
falls slightly.) MODE2 provides greater noise reduction than<br />
MODE1.<br />
• OFF : DNR function becomes ineffective.<br />
• MODE1 : DNR MODE1 becomes effective.<br />
• MODE2 : DNR MODE2 becomes effective.<br />

Corrects for extraneous reflections in the optical and CCD systems which ends to weaken bright image<br />
components. Normally set to on.<br />
4) R FLARE : Sets flare compensation for Red<br />
The setting range is from 0 to 64. Set large values for large compensation.<br />
5) G FLARE : Sets flare compensation for Green<br />
The setting range is from 0 to 64. Set large values for large compensation.<br />
6) B FLARE : Sets flare compensation for Blue<br />
The setting range is from 0 to 64. Set large values for large compensation.<br />
7) INITIALIZE : Initializes OTHER FUNCTION menu settings to factory setting. Press L and R buttons<br />
simultaneously for about 2 seconds for initialization.<br />
