During the passing centuries, since infant man began to<br />

extend the scope of his objective researches toward discovering<br />

the inner workings of the organism in which he lives and has<br />

his being, one of the hypotheses which he has expressed, anJ<br />

one which <strong>com</strong>es very dose to the truth, is that which allies the<br />

workings of the subconscious mind to the reflex action of the<br />

spinal nerve: for near the base of this important vital factor of<br />

our organism is a brain center known as the Solar Plexus,<br />

which, with itB corresponding system of nerves and ganglia, is<br />
