(16) Mid-Atlantic Rail Operation Study<br />

(i) For Phase I projects identified in the MAROPS as<br />

part <strong>of</strong> their Pilot Demonstration Program. The<br />

projects will increase rail freight and intercity rail<br />

capacity. Grant participants are Norfolk Southern<br />

Railroad, CSX Transportation and Amtrak. <strong>Project</strong><br />

locations include from New Jersey, North-South<br />

through Philadelphia to the Delaware State Line from<br />

Philadelphia to Harrisburg and from Harrisburg to<br />

Maryland State Line. 114,600,000<br />
