Branch at Lemoyne to milepost 66.8 on Port Road<br />

Secondary/Enola Branch in order to access Enola<br />

(ii) Construction <strong>of</strong> a second track on the main line<br />

between Harris to CP Rockville 3,500,000<br />

(Base <strong>Project</strong> Allocation - $3,500,000)<br />

(iii) Construction <strong>of</strong> a second track on the Reading Line<br />

between Blandon and Laurel to create a double track<br />

line, including the construction <strong>of</strong> four new bridges,<br />

two new interlockings, TCS and crossing upgrades 9,500,000<br />

(Base <strong>Project</strong> Allocation - $9,500,000)<br />

(iv) Rehabilitation <strong>of</strong> track to improve horizontal and<br />

vertical clearances and upgrade track to<br />

accommodate the 286K railcars on the Keystone Line<br />

<strong>of</strong> the Amtrak Keystone Corridor 10,000,000<br />

(v) Restore connection between Philadelphia freight<br />

bypass track and Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor at Zoo<br />

interlocking 10,000,000<br />

(vi) Construct 1.5 miles <strong>of</strong> additional main line track<br />

between Wyomissing Junction and Valley Junction 15,600,000<br />

(vii) Construct four miles <strong>of</strong> additional main line track<br />

between Penn Junction and Bethlehem 16,000,000<br />

(18) North Shore Railroad<br />

(i) Construction <strong>of</strong> new interchange track with SEDA-<br />

COG system <strong>of</strong> North Shore Railroad and Delaware<br />

and Hudson to handle new customer traffic demands 2,171,000<br />

(Base <strong>Project</strong> Allocation - $1,953,000)<br />

(Design and Contingencies - $218,000)<br />

(19) Reading Blue Mountain and Northern Railroad<br />

(i) Upgrade <strong>of</strong> welded rail on the Lehigh Line due to~<br />

increased traffic and to accommodate the use <strong>of</strong> the<br />

286K rail car in Carbon, Luzerne, Lackawanna and<br />

Wyoming Counties 1,100,000<br />

(Base <strong>Project</strong> Allocation - $1,000,000)<br />

(Design and Contingencies - $100,000)<br />

(ii) Rehabilitation <strong>of</strong> Tamaqua Tunnel to remove<br />

clearance obstruction on the Reading Division in<br />

(iii) Construction <strong>of</strong> Nesquehoning Bridge wye and<br />

runaround at Nesquehoning Junction in Carbon<br />
