Another test was step change of referenced active power P ref from 1 kW to 2 kW, and has been carried out with open DC-link voltage control loop (Fig. 6.13). As it can be seen in Fig. 6.14 the predictive control methods get faster responses, with smaller overshot. Note that, in all cases no opposite voltage vector application occurs. Finally, Fig. 6.15 shows control methods performance on step change of referenced DC-link voltage U DCref from 300 V to 600 V.
