8. Use the Compare pop-up menu to specify the type of change that you want to monitor for each triggering<br />

file. For instance, if you select “File Exists” from the pop-up menu, Self Healing will be triggered if the<br />

triggering file does not exist on the client computer. If you select “Permissions“ from the pop-up menu,<br />

Self Healing will be triggered if the permissions for the file on the client computer do not match those in<br />

the package.<br />

9. Click Save.<br />

Deleting Packages<br />

If you no longer need a package, you can delete it using <strong>Casper</strong> Admin or the JSS.<br />

When you delete a package, it is moved from the Packages folder to the Deleted Packages folder that is<br />

located in the <strong>Casper</strong> Data folder. To permanently delete the package, empty the trash after the package<br />

has been deleted.<br />

After a package is deleted, change the stage to “Deleted” so it cannot be used.<br />

Empty the trash using <strong>Casper</strong> Admin or the JSS<br />

To delete a package using <strong>Casper</strong> Admin:<br />

1. Open <strong>Casper</strong> Admin, and make sure the Repository list is highlighted in the sidebar.<br />

2. Select the packages that you want to delete.<br />

3. Click the Delete button in the toolbar.<br />

4. Click OK to confirm the deletion.<br />

To delete a package using the JSS:<br />

1. Log in to the JSS with a web browser.<br />

2. Click the Settings tab.<br />

3. Click <strong>Casper</strong> Admin link.<br />

4. In the list of packages, click the link for package that you want to delete.<br />

5. Click the Options tab and choose “Deleted” from the Stage pop-up menu.<br />

6. Click Save.<br />

To empty the trash using <strong>Casper</strong> Admin:<br />

1. Open <strong>Casper</strong> Admin.<br />

2. Click the Empty Trash button in the toolbar.<br />
