To uninstall a package using <strong>Casper</strong> Remote:<br />

1. Open <strong>Casper</strong> Remote.<br />

2. In the Computers list, locate the clients that you want to remove the package from and select the<br />

checkbox next to each one.<br />

3. Click the Packages tab.<br />

4. In the Packages list, locate the package you want to uninstall and select the checkbox next to it.<br />

5. Choose "Uninstall" from the Action pop-up menu below the list of packages.<br />

If the package is not indexed and/or the Allow Uninstall option is not enabled, the Uninstall option is not<br />

displayed.<br />

6. Click Go.<br />

Once you complete these steps, <strong>Casper</strong> Remote uninstalls the package from client computers by<br />

performing the following steps:<br />

1. <strong>Casper</strong> Remote logs in to each client using an SSH connection.<br />

2. <strong>Casper</strong> Remote verifies the identity of the clients using their MAC addresses.<br />

3. <strong>Casper</strong> Remote uninstalls the package.<br />

4. <strong>Casper</strong> Remote logs out of each client and ends the SSH connection.<br />
