. Select the HTTP Downloads are enabled for this Distribution Point checkbox.<br />

c. Choose “HTTP” or “HTTPS” from the Protocol pop-up menu.<br />

d. Enter the port in the Port field.<br />

e. In the Context field, enter the path to the share point (following the DNS name or port) that exists in<br />

the URL. For example, you would type “<strong>Casper</strong>Share” if the share is accessible at:<br />

http://192.168.10.10/<strong>Casper</strong>Share/<br />

f. If the share requires a username and password to access files, select the Username & Password<br />

Authentication is Required option. Enter the username and password, and then enter the password<br />

again to verify it.<br />

g. If the share requires a certificate, select Certificate Authentication is Required and click Choose File to<br />

upload the certificate.<br />

The certificate that you upload must be trusted.<br />

12. Click the Save button.<br />

Replicating Distribution Points<br />

You can replicate distribution points that are running on any platform.<br />

To ensure distribution points have the same deployable items, synchronize them manually using the<br />

<strong>Casper</strong> Admin application.<br />

To replicate distribution points:<br />

1. Open <strong>Casper</strong> Admin.<br />

2. Select the distribution point(s) you want to replicate and click the Replicate button.<br />

Replicating FireWire or USB Drives<br />

To make packages, scripts, printers, and configurations available for <strong>Casper</strong> Imaging offline, replicate to an<br />

external drive and place a copy of <strong>Casper</strong> Imaging at the root of the drive.<br />

Note: <strong>Casper</strong> Imaging cannot create a management account when imaging offline.<br />

Replicating a FireWire or USB drive involves the following steps:<br />

1. Replicate to an external drive.<br />

2. Use the replicated drive offline.<br />

Step 1: Replicate to an External Drive<br />

1. Open <strong>Casper</strong> Admin.<br />

2. Drag the hard drive icon from the Finder to the sidebar in <strong>Casper</strong> Admin.<br />
