5.8.5 Radiator and condenser core cleaning (12)<br />

Clean the radiator core and the cores of the oil condenser and air<br />

conditioning condenser by blowing compressed air away from the<br />

engine as follows:<br />

► Remove the pin (A).<br />

► Carefully turn the cores out.<br />

► Blow the cores with compressed air away from the engine.<br />

Do not use a pressure washer or clean the cores mechanically.<br />

Also carry out maintenance items 1–12.<br />

5.9.1 Cabin fresh‐air filter cleaning (14)<br />

The fresh‐air filter is located behind the right door.<br />

► Open the door and remove the filter.<br />

► Clean the filter with compressed air, for example, by blowing from the clean<br />

side toward the dirty side.<br />

► Replace a damaged or dirty filter.<br />

5.9.2 Engine air filter replacement (15)<br />

The engine air filter must be replaced according to the maintenance<br />

interval table or if the filters are very dirty or damaged.<br />

► Turn off the engine for the replacement.<br />

A clogged filter causes the running sound to change or increased smoke<br />

generation and loss of power.<br />

► Remove the old filters and install the new filters carefully into position.<br />
