Other Languages: Spanish Affordable Housing Rental Program Services Description: KCCSI has several rental properties which it maintains in its Affordable Housing Rental Program for the benefit of families with low-income in Kankakee County. Each family is assigned a staff person who works with them to make sure they are aware of services that are available at the agency or throughout the community. Through this program homeless or formally homeless families are given an opportunity to stabilize their family. Since the rent is based on the family income, they are able to pay rent that they can afford. SHELTER Description: Offers assistance to those who find themselves homeless or near-homeless.
