RESIDENTIAL SERVICES
Description: Streamwood provides children and adolescents with a continuum of
services including: Inpatient Stabilization, Day Treatment, Outpatient Assessment and
Treatment, Residential Care, Therapeutic Day School and Behavioral Management
Specialty Assessment.
Treatment is individualized. Their team approach helps strengthen individual’s social
skills and interpersonal relationships by utilizing their existing emotional, behavioral and
social resources in conjunction with environmental resources at home and school.
Behavioral management techniques are a key treatment component. Positive
reinforcements help build self-esteem and increase healthy behaviors while addressing
limit setting and self-discipline.
Referral Procedures: Individuals can walk into the facility without an appointment and
still receive an immediate assessment or they can schedule it on the phone with the staff
person they are speaking with.

disabilities. Plans include mini blinds and washer dryer connections. All units pre wired

trail. Transportation and shopping nearby.
