DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
Description: Services include 24-hr crisis line and crisis intervention, safe shelter,
counseling for adults and children, support groups for adults and children, assistance
with orders of protection and other court-related advocacy, parenting assistance, and
abuser groups held in an outside location. Spanish-speaking staff available. We offer
Healthy Relationships groups for high school students, as well.
Eligibility: For victim services, must be a victim of domestic violence or the dependent
child of a victim. For abuser services, abusers are eligible.
Meetings: Call 815-625-0343 for information on support groups.
Fees: No fees for victims. Sliding scale for abuser groups; private insurance and private
pay accepted.
Referral Procedures: Walk-in services available for victims. After hours, call the hotline.
