HOMELESS SERVICES
Description: The Center for Women in Transition (CWT) is a not-for-profit agency in
Champaign-Urbana, Illinois, that offers transitional housing and supportive services to
women and their children who are experiencing homelessness or domestic violence.
Our mission at CWT is two-fold: to provide women in need with a home and to foster and
sustain their self-sufficiency. We also raise awareness about homelessness and advocate
for women's empowerment in our community.
