Services<br />

Safe Harbor<br />

Description: Residential Services offers shelter beds to homeless men and women. In<br />

addition to day center services, clients receive an evening meal. The length of stay is<br />

eight weeks. The stay may be extended based on progress. Warming center open during<br />

inclement weather. Meals available to non residents. Must see a case manager for<br />

approval.<br />

Hours: 7 days/week, 5:00 pm to 8:00 am (residential).<br />

Documents Needed: Admission requirements: BPD clearance card. If one is not able to<br />

obtain a clearance card, one must receive approval from a case manager.<br />

TRANSITIONAL HOUSING<br />

Description: Open to families with children when available and through agency referral.<br />

Eligibility: Families with up to 4 individuals (may include single mothers, single fathers,<br />

or married couples with children).<br />

Referral Procedures: Agency referral required.<br />

WARMING CENTERS<br />

Description: Warming <strong>Center</strong> is available during cold weather months. Those eligible to<br />

stay in the warming center are homeless men and women, ages 18 and up.<br />

Documents Needed: Clearance card from Bloomington Police Department.<br />
