OfficeMate 10.5 Enhancements Patient Ledger • Ability to modify the following information when redoing an Rx order: Lens Add-Ons Frame Source Frame NOTES • If you modify the frame information, an inventory warning opens when you click Record and reminds you to manually add the old frame back to your inventory, if desired. • Open charges are not created when you redo an Rx order. If you need to modify charges, return the Rx order and then create a new Rx order. Patient Ledger The Patient Ledger window includes the following new features: • Ability to view the insurance carrier’s name on transfer line items in the Patient and Insurance tabs. • Ability to view the reference on Transfer from Patient to Insurance line items on Transfer from Patient line items in the Insurance tab. • Ability to view the product’s description on Transfer from Patient line items in the Patient/Insurance tab. • The Transfer Patient Correction line items are now hidden to simplify your view in the Patient and Insurance tabs. • The Transfer from Patient to Insurance line items are now hidden to simplify your view in the Insurance tab. • Ability to select an insurance carrier from the drop-down menu in the Insurance tab. OfficeMate 10.5 Enhancements Patient Ledger • Ability to view a fee slip and modify the CPT/HCPCS code, modifiers, item narrative, and service date in the Fee Slip Item Additional Data window from the Ledger in OfficeMate Administration. To view a fee slip and then modify additional information in it, select a fee slip and click View Slip. • Ability to reverse and correct deposits directly from the Patient Receipt History tab in the Patient Ledger window with a new button, Reverse/ Correct.
