Preferences<br />
• Ability to set up preferences on the new Finance tab (Allow Posting date to<br />
be changed in Administration and Allow Posting date to be changed in<br />
Locations) to allow users in <strong>OfficeMate</strong> Administration and locations to<br />
change the posting date to record backdated transactions.<br />
NOTES • If you enable the General Ledger Interface, then you cannot<br />
allow users to change the posting date.<br />
• The default selection for these preferences for new users<br />
and users upgrading from <strong>OfficeMate</strong> v8 is Yes. The default<br />
selection for these preferences for users upgrading from<br />
<strong>OfficeMate</strong> Enterprise v2 and <strong>OfficeMate</strong> v9/v10 is No.<br />
• Ability to set up a preference on the new Finance tab (Allow Payment Type<br />
to be Corrected) to allow users to select a patient or insurance payment in<br />
the Receipt History window and then change the payment method in the<br />
Receipts & Adjustments window.<br />
NOTES • If you enable the General Ledger Interface, then you cannot<br />
allow users to change the payment method.<br />
• The default selection for this preference is Yes.<br />

• The Other tab is renamed Misc.<br />
