The Products window includes the following new features:
• The VSP Product tab has been removed because frame shapes are no
longer required.
• Ability to manually select a CPT/HCPCS code for ophthalmic lenses in the
Product Details tab and start using the lens immediately without having to
first set up attributes and use the Lens Product Loader.
In OfficeMate v9/v10, you had to set up attributes in the Third Party Setup
window in order for CPT/HCPC codes to be set up correctly and then use the
Lens Product Loader. Without the Lens Product Loader, you could not easily
update the base CPT code when needed.
NOTES • Eyefinity highly recommends that you use the Lens Product
Loader to ensure accurate mapping of your lenses.
• If you have already used Lens Product Loader to load and
map your lenses, you cannot manually select a CPT/HCPCS
code in the Product Details tab.
To manually select a CPT/HCPCS code for an ophthalmic lens, click the
Products icon, select Products and Services, select an ophthalmic lens,
click the Product Details tab, and then select a code from the Prod. CPT/
HCPCS Code drop-down menu.
