The Appointment Scheduler window contains the following new features:<br />
• Ability to view a patient’s default provider in the Patient Information box.<br />
• Ability to quickly see provider and resource exceptions. Exceptions are now<br />
outlined in black and display the reason in the timeslot and when you place<br />
your cursor over them.<br />
• Ability to edit provider and resource exceptions.<br />
To edit a provider or resource exception, select the exception, right-click<br />
and select Edit Selected Exception, or, click Edit and select Edit Selected<br />
Exception.<br />
NOTES • You can no longer double-click on an exception to edit it.<br />
• You can no longer drag and drop an exception to a new<br />
timeslot to move it.<br />
• The Edit Selected Item selection from the Edit and right-click menus is<br />
renamed Edit Selected Appointment.<br />
• Ability to create unavailable exceptions in timeslots when the provider or<br />
resource is unavailable. This feature is useful if a resource is only available<br />
in multiple small blocks of time throughout the day.<br />
