1. Introduction to <strong>Galileo</strong><br />
strap around your chest, just below the<br />
chest muscles, and buckle the strap to<br />
the transmitter.<br />
- When using a dry suit, lift the transmitter<br />
off your chest and moisten the two<br />
grooved areas on the back.<br />
- Check that the electrode areas are fi rmly<br />
against your skin and that the Polar logo<br />
is in a central, upright position.<br />
- Ensure that the transmitter is not<br />
displaced when donning a wet suit or a<br />
dry suit.<br />
1.14 Turning off <strong>Galileo</strong><br />
<strong>Galileo</strong> turns off automatically after<br />
3 minutes without operation. When in time<br />
of day display, it can also be turned off<br />
manually by pressing and holding the left<br />
and right buttons simultaneously.<br />
