OrgPlus User Guide Displaying Directories This section describes how directories are displayed in the Directory panel. ➣ To display a directory: • In the Directory panel, select the desired directory from the Directories drop-down list. The selected report is displayed in the Directory panel. When generating a directory, you can choose the sub-set of data to be used by clicking on the Display Options drop-down list are available: . The following display options Option Dynamic Description Generate a directory based on the currently selected chart box and its descendants. Selection Only Generate a directory based on only the selected chart boxes. Orphans Entire Chart All Records Limit to sub-chart Display a directory that contains only unassigned record (records that are not included in the chart.) Generate a directory based on the entire chart. Generate a directory based on the chart and all unassigned records (orphans). For Dynamic directories only. Limit the contents of the directory to the displayed sub-chart; does not include descendant sub-charts. OrgPlus Panels CHAPTER 8 Editing Data Using Directories You can edit chart information using the directory. Changes are automatically reflected in the chart. ➣ To edit chart data via the directory: 1 With the Directory panel open, select a directory from the Directory drop-down list. 2 Choose a row in the directory. Click any cell in that row and enter the desired changes. Press to advance to the next cell or press when finished. Notice that the corresponding box in the chart is also updated. Note: When you double-click the icon corresponding to that record is selected. Emailing from Directories to the left of a directory line, the box You can send an email from a directory. ➣ To send an email: 1 With the Directory panel open, choose a directory from the Directory dropdown list. 2 Click the email address shown in any record.
