From 3,260 total responses received (multiple choices<br />

possible), a clear majority of participants (73%) is<br />

staying informed on the market situation for natural<br />

refrigerants through specialised websites. Information<br />

sources of similar high value include direct contacts<br />

with partners and customers (64%), technical and<br />

scientific conferences (64%), trade shows (62%) and<br />

print magazines (61%). Online blogs and other social<br />

media channels, as well as government / NGO sources<br />

are used to only a minor extent.<br />

Meetings remain most popular<br />

information source<br />

If all individual response options are grouped by the<br />

overall type of information provider and channel<br />

used, face-to-face meetings during individual talks,<br />

conferences, workshops and trade shows emerge as<br />

the most popular source of information on natural<br />

refrigerants. This is then followed by online & print<br />

sources (specialised and general media) used by 33%,<br />

and authoritive bodies (associations, consultancies,<br />

governments / NGOs) serving for 19% of all respondents<br />

as an information source.<br />
