4.11 UTILITY CORRIDOR<br />
4.11.1 LAND USE<br />
It is the policy <strong>of</strong> Council that:<br />

1. The following uses shall be permitted in the Utility Corridor designation<br />
shown on Schedule A2 (Land Use) <strong>of</strong> this <strong>Plan</strong>:<br />
a. Stormwater management works;<br />
b. Electrical transformer and distribution stations;<br />
c. District heating distribution stations and related facilities;<br />
d. Trails and linear parks; and<br />
e. Existing automotive service commercial uses as <strong>of</strong> the date <strong>of</strong> the<br />
adoption <strong>of</strong> this <strong>Plan</strong>.<br />
2. Written approval from Ontario Hydro shall be required as part <strong>of</strong> a<br />
complete application for development proposals within the Utility Corridor<br />
designation.<br />
4.11.2 DESIGN<br />
It is the policy <strong>of</strong> Council that:<br />

1. The <strong>Town</strong> shall encourage the linkage <strong>of</strong> a trail system within the Greenway<br />
System provided that the ecological and hydrological functions <strong>of</strong> the<br />
