shall be forwarded to MHRD regularly.<br />
17.3 Miscellaneous<br />
17.3.1 Computer Training<br />
<strong>The</strong> new Hindi Computer S<strong>of</strong>tware developed by the<br />
Information and Broadcasting Ministry was made<br />
available and provided to the Departments at NIOS<br />
Headquarters and the Regional Centres <strong>of</strong> NIOS.<br />
Training sessions were also organized for staff<br />
members for this programme.<br />
17.3.2 Inspection<br />
Several Sections <strong>of</strong> NIOS were inspected to<br />
ascertain the actual use <strong>of</strong> Hindi. Possibilities <strong>of</strong><br />
promotion <strong>of</strong> Hindi at different levels were discussed<br />
with various departments.<br />
