10.15.3 Overhead Primary <strong>Service</strong> Equipment<br />

The <strong>Power</strong> Company will normally provide the pole (at customer expense) and primary<br />

CTs and PTs mounted on the pole. The primary metering pole is classified as the service<br />

point. The <strong>Power</strong> Company will provide one span of overhead primary conductors from<br />

the primary metering pole to the customer’s facility.<br />

10.15.4 Underground Primary Metering Equipment (Less than 600 Amps)<br />

The underground service point is at the padmounted enclosure containing the primary<br />

metering equipment in accordance with the current filed <strong>Electric</strong> <strong>Service</strong> Regulations and<br />

tariff.<br />

<strong>Requirements</strong>:<br />

1. The meter may be located on the metering station or on a post as shown (optional). The<br />

<strong>Power</strong> Company will supply the primary metering enclosure at the customer’s expense, or<br />

the customer will provide the metering enclosure as approved by the <strong>Power</strong> Company.<br />

2. The <strong>Power</strong> Company may require the customer to mount the meter socket enclosure on an<br />

optional customer-provided post. The location must be approved by the <strong>Power</strong> Company.<br />

This manual shall be distributed and interpreted in its entirety. Individual pages will not represent all the requirements necessary for an installation.<br />
