Additional <strong>Requirements</strong>:<br />
1. The meter socket and service equipment shall be NEMA type 3R (rainproof), in good<br />
condition, with no holes, dents, or damage, and plumb in all directions. The installation shall<br />
be made with sufficient materials and installed such that it remains plumb for the duration of<br />
the temporary service.<br />
2. The customer’s minimum conductor size is No. 8 copper or No. 6 aluminum.<br />
The customer-supplied conductor shall, at minimum, be long enough to connect to the<br />
<strong>Power</strong> Company terminals.<br />
3. Conduit must be rigidly fastened to the post.<br />
4. The post is customer-owned and shall be made of pressure- or thermally-treated wood with a<br />
minimum nominal size of 4”×4”.<br />
5. A main breaker is required in post installations.<br />
6. Clearances between metallic equipment, non-metallic equipment and poles shall be<br />
maintained as specified in Section 5.5.<br />
Note: The customer also owns the conduit, conductor, and meter socket.<br />
