Article 186 *<br />

(1) Supervisory control over the implementation of the provisions sanctionable under Articles<br />

184 and 185 shall be the <strong>com</strong>petence of the Market Inspection. The proceedings concerning<br />

these cases shall be expeditious.<br />

(2) When the inspector learns of a misdemeanor referred to in paragraph 1 through official<br />

channels, he may:<br />

1. seize the goods which were used or intended for the <strong>com</strong>mission of a misdemeanor, or<br />

were created by such misdemeanor, and<br />

2. order to remedy the irregularity within the prescribed time limit.<br />

TRANSITIONAL <strong>AND</strong> FINAL PROVISIONS<br />

of Copyright and Related Rights Act of 30 March 1995<br />

as amended on 26 January 2001 and on 10 April 2001<br />

Article 187<br />

(1) Provisions of this Act concerning the remuneration to be paid for private or other internal<br />

use (Articles 37. to 39.), shall take effect two years after the date of the enactment of this Act.<br />

(2) The Government shall issue the regulations, mentioned in Article 39 (1) of this Act, within<br />

one year after the date of the enactment of this Act.<br />

Article 188<br />

Provisions of this Act concerning the remuneration for public <strong>com</strong>munication of phonograms<br />

(Articles 122 and 130), shall take effect two years after the date of the enactment of this Act.<br />

Article 189<br />

(1) Organizations of authors that have collectively administered the rights according to<br />

Articles 91 and 93 of the Copyright Act (Official Gazette of SFRY, No. 19/1978, 24/1986,<br />

21/1990), before the enactment of this Act, may continue to do so without the permission of<br />

the Office, until the Office issues a permission for the collective administration of these same<br />

rights to a collecting society that meets the conditions required by this Act.<br />

(2) Tariffs adopted by the organizations of authors before the enactment of this Act according<br />

to the provision of Article 91.a. of the Copyright Act, shall apply until the adoption of general<br />

or special tariffs according to Article 153 of this Act.
