Laser exhausts in UK
VE (UK) and Laser Exhausts have
reached an agreement for VE (UK) to
supply the Laser Scooter range of
exhausts to UK dealers.
The OE Laser replacement systems
are stainless steel with a stainless steel
heat deflector. All brackets are in bright
zinc plate. VE will also supply the Laser
sports chrome systems with stainless
steel mufflers. All Laser systems
imported are ‘E’ marked and fully road
legal.

Flip my lid!
Flip front helmets can make life much
easier when asking for directions or
paying at the petrol station (if you’re
lucky enough to be allowed in without
having to remove it first, that is). The

Chris Jones RIP
Chris Jones (14) son of Pam and Clive Jones at CJ
Scooters, in Droitwich, was sadly fatally injured on the start
line at the 2005 August Bank Holiday motorcycle meeting at
Cadwell Park. Chris was a star at only 14 and had secured
a Moto GP ride for 2006. His ability was apparent from early
days and this young rider was a motorcycle champion in
the making. Pam and Clive have been good friends of
scootering for a long time and we extend our deepest
sympathies to them, their family, friends and fellowcompetitors,

The Low Capacity Road Racing Club
(LCRRC) have announced that their
2005-06 winter series will kick off at
Blyton on 6 November. Once again a
bike will be up for grabs as the top
prize. This year the series is sponsored
by www.poweroffroad.co.uk who will
be giving one of their Rampage Pit
Bikes away to the top rider.
Classes will be similar to last year
(but with a tightening of regulations
based on the last 12 months’
experience) with junior, veteran,
standard and modified classes.
