CHAMPIONSHIP UPDATE
After last month’s X-Race instalment (Round 5 at
Santa Pod), we’ve run into extra time. Better late
than never, we have for your perusal, a full list of
results from this year’s Santa Pod Hijack. Not only
that, the current championship points have been
added up which gives us chance to see
where everyone currently stands in the series.
So let’s a look at the scores (George Dawes)…
Fighting it out in the
15.5 Class, it’s Alan Day
Results from the last round at Santa Pod are incomplete...
There are a couple of reasons for this. First of all, before a
rider can race, they have to fill out a signing-on form. If
this form is incomplete or illegible, then the timekeeper at
Santa Pod is unable to enter riders’ times into the
database. Also, if a rider doesn’t have a visible race
number or reg plate that they can be identified with, then
their times will inevitably be omitted from the results.
Rick Cuthbert at Santa Pod (who did his best to collate all
the results) does admit that the signing-on procedure
could be improved. In light of all this, I’m told things
should be a lot better next year. Fingers crossed…
Deliriously quick…
