IGGY SAYS:
One thing Peugeot can’t be accused of is
standing still and despite only launching the
C-Tech a few months ago they’ve already
carried on with their tradition of creating WRC
replicas with this gorgeous special edition.
The paint job makes the scoot look fast,
even when it’s stood still. Peugeot’s
paintwork is stunning on this machine (as
usual) and is certainly worth the extra £100
over the standard model. The C-Tech was
slower than expected from the off but it soon
got into its stride and wasn’t left behind for
too long. It was good fun to ride and liked
being thrown into bends, which is always a
bonus for a machine that will spend most of
its working life being thrashed around twisty
ring roads and scattering startled shoppers in
supermarket car parks at every opportunity.
The Peugeot is a manoeuvrable little
machine, with plenty of lock, so it can be
spun around easily in the smallest of
spaces. If you’re into your electronic gadgets
you may be disappointed though, this scoot
is fitted with an all-analogue dash, which
helps to keep the cost down but functions
are limited to fuel, temperature, speed
and mileage. The front disc is of the
trendy wavy variety in keeping with the
race style of the machine and it does
work very well – so with a bit of
practice and you’ll be doing
stoppies in no time!
If you like a sporty looking
machine oozing with style and a
quality finish the C-Tech could be the
one for you.
