Maintenance<br />
5. Disconnect the fuel line.<br />
6. Disconnect the tank vent line.<br />
7. To reinstall the fuel tank, reconnect all fuel lines and wire harness.<br />
8. Reinstall the fuel tank mounting screws.<br />
Torque: 20 ft -lbs (27 Nm)<br />
9. Reinstall the operator’s seat.<br />
Replace Fuel Filter<br />
The fuel filter is attached to the electric fuel pump located inside the fuel tank. Fuel filter condition is<br />
associated with engine performance and fuel economy. For fuel filter replacement procedures and special<br />
tools required, see the Victory Service Manual or contact an authorized Victory dealer.<br />
Fast Idle Lever<br />
Check Fast Idle Lever and Cable<br />
1. Move the fast idle lever. It should move smoothly from its rest position to its completely open<br />
position and back again<br />
2. Fast idle lever freeplay - the amount of lever movement from the rest position to the point of cable<br />
resistance - should be 1/8 -1/4 inch (3 -6 mm).<br />
3. Adjust fast idle lever freeplay if necessary.<br />
