10. Reconnect the clutch cable and reinstall the clutch lever, lever pivot screw, and nut.<br />
Torque: 40 in -lbs (5 Nm)<br />
11. Adjust clutch freeplay.<br />

1. Remove the operator’s seat.<br />
2. Remove the front and rear fuel tank screws.<br />
3. Raise the rear of the fuel tank high enough to expose<br />
the clutch cable. Support the rear of the fuel tank with<br />
a block of wood.<br />
4. Slide the rubber cover off the cable adjuster, and<br />
loosen the adjuster jam nut.<br />
5. Turn the cable adjuster in or out until the clutch<br />
freeplayis0.04-0.08inch(1-2mm).<br />
6. Tighten the adjuster jam nut and reinstall the rubber<br />
cover.<br />
7. Reinstall and tighten the front and rear fuel tank<br />
screws.<br />
Torque: 20 ft -lbs (27 Nm)<br />
8. Reinstall the operator’s seat.<br />
